His main research interests are solid state chemistry (focused on molecular materials for nonlinear optics, special dielectrics and proton conductors) and vibrational spectroscopy (applications in solid state chemistry, monitoring of phase transitions and applications in works of art). He is the author of more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
