Marcus M. Heinl
Marcus Heinl finished his diploma thesis in Analytical Chemistry in May 2013 in the working group of Prof. Dr. Nicolas H. Bings at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, Germany. During his graduation he spent a six month period as a guest researcher at the working group of Prof. Dr. Cameron C. Skinner at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Since June 2013 he is performing his PhD studies in the Bings` group in Mainz. His research topics are on one side the development, improvement and evaluation of a new sheath flow absorbance cell for micro flow separation technics, e.g. capillary electrophoresis. On the other side the improvement of a recently developed halo shaped flowing atmospheric pressure afterglow ionisation source for mass spectrometric analysis.
