Ernest Beinrohr

Ernest Beinrohr finished his PhD study in 1979 in the field of chemical properties of dithiocarbamate complexes and was engaged as lecturer at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, since 1989 associated professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of this university. In 1993-1999 he was a guest professor at the Szechenyi Istvan University in Gyor, Hungary.

Lecturer in General Analytical Chemistry, Analytical Spectroscopy, Electroanalytical Methods, Electrochemistry and Trace Analysis. Co-author of a university textbook (Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy, ALFA Bratislava, 1991), laboratory guides and educational computer programs.

In 1990 was awarded a research fellowship by the Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation in Bonn, FRG and spent 17 months at the Max-Planck-Institute for Metal Research in Dortmund in the laboratories of Professor G. Tolg.

His current research interests involve trace analysis, atomic spectroscopy, electroanalytical chemistry, on-line preconcentration for atomic spectroscopy and industrial monitoring systems. Author and coauthor of numerous scientific research papers, book chapters and conference contributions.
